Graduate School Fair

Undergraduate students can interact with representatives of different graduate schools and learn more about the research programs available at these universities as well as their chances of getting accepted into these graduate programs.

Friday, October 21

Festival de Química- NCW Celebration Outreach Event
Student Member Chapters will conduct hands on demonstrations associated with an element of the Periodic Table and related to the NCW theme: “Chemistry-It’s Elemental”

8:30 am – 12:00 pm, Convention Center’s District

Exhibits 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Exhibition Hall C

Technical Program 

8:30 – 12:00 Noon.

Awards Luncheon 
12:00 – 1:30 pm, Place to be announcedUniversity of Puerto Rico Graduate School Tour (Molecular Sciences Research Center). 

The Student Members Chapter will be in charge of hosting those interested in visiting the facilities and in learning more about graduate school opportunities at UPR- Rio Piedras.

2:00 – 4:00 pm, Departing from the Registration Area.

Saturday, October 22 

American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Caribbean Division Annual Conference.

The AAAS-Caribbean Division will hold its 36th Annual Conference (AAAS-CD 09) jointly with SERMACS 2022. “The conference will also include scientific sessions, teachers and students workshops. The Robert I. Larus award will be presented to the best graduate student poster.
